She is also pursuing a certificate in sustainability & energy and management of creative industries. At Northwestern, Dubinina conducts research for the Buffett Institute for Global Affairs, in collaboration with the Association of Foreign Correspondents USA. She holds a Leopold Fellowship at the Chabraja Center for Historical Studies.

She was a podcast intern for Foreign Policy, where she helped produce the State of Seed and Counterpoint podcasts. She did archival research in South Korea and Japan for her thesis on nuclear policy.

He previously worked with bilingual reporting, science communication and education initiatives in Brazil.
