WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden held a trick-or-treating event at the White House on Wednesday for the final time during Biden’s presidency.
The First Lady dressed in a panda costume, honoring the two giant pandas that arrived at the National Zoo earlier this month. Her theme for the event was “Hallo-READ!,” and she handed out the book “10 Spooky Pumpkins” to the local students and military-connected children who attended the event.
Biden kissed multiple babies in attendance while handing out candy. The South Lawn was decorated with giant jack-o-lanterns, spiders and books, as well as a large sign that read “Hallo-READ.”
