WASHINGTON — Protesters gathered in Freedom Plaza before marching to the White House on Saturday, opposing the Biden administration’s support of Israel in the Israel-Hamas war. Tens of thousands were present at the rally, with organizers suggesting attendance surpassed 400,000.
The march came as the war neared its hundredth day. The United States has already given Israel billions of dollars in military aid, and President Joe Biden requested an additional $14.3 billion at the end of 2023. 25,000 Palestinians have died in the war, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
