WASHINGTON — President Biden announced the U.S. will ban imports of Russian oil and gas on Tuesday, minutes before boarding Marine One to Fort Worth, Texas.

Biden, accompanied by Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough, traveled to speak with veterans and VA health advocates about burn pits and health effects of environmental exposure. Marine 1 departed the White House South Lawn at 11:56 a.m., about 50 minutes behind schedule after Biden’s speech.
