WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — First lady Michelle Obama, one of the most popular surrogates for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, joined Clinton for the first time on the campaign trail at an early vote rally Thursday. Thousands of supporters and students attended the event, which took place at Wake Forest University’s athletics arena.
